With the funeral of His Holiness Pope Francis taking place in Rome, large crowds of people have gathered in Vatican Square to bid him farewell and pray for the repose of his soul.
In Jordan and at the behest of parish priest Fr. Khalil Ja’ar, students of the Latin Patriarchate at the Northern Marka School--along with the school principal, teachers, and the second batch of Ambassadors of Hope from the Jordan Springs of Hope initiative, affiliated with the Talita Kum (the International Network of Consecrated Life Against Trafficking in Persons)--participated in bidding farewell to an exceptional figure who left behind a great legacy of love, brotherhood, and humanity.
Reflections and hymns were presented with the school choir and associated with praying the Rosary for the repose of the soul of His Holiness late Pope Francis. Rosary Sister Cecile Hijazin supervised the arrangements for these prayers in cooperation with the school administration, teacher Lara Haddad, and the Ambassadors of Hope. This is an expression of gratitude, love, and prayer for the head of the Catholic Church. Peace be upon your soul, Holy Pope.
O Pope Saint remember us from the throne of heaven, so that we may live in accordance with the will of the Lord. It is the plea of the humble, the poor in spirit, the messengers of light and peace, the witnesses to the Gospel of salvation in our lives, and loving everyone without exception.
