Jordan: Workshop on "Freedom for Women"
By Munir Bayouk and Carole Alamat/  en.abouna.org :

The Springs of Hope Initiative in Jordan, in cooperation with the "Mother Wise" initiative, has held a training workshop for women at the Latin Monastery Hall in Mark titled, "Freedom for Women."

The workshop discussed various topics related to this important topic which is relevant to women's lives from a psychological, religious, and spiritual perspective.

Prior to the opening session, a special prayer was offered marking the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, which falls on July 30 by the  attending women along with Sister Cecile Hijazin, the coordinator of the Springs of Hope Initiative in Jordan, who works to spread the spirit of Talitha Kum in Catholic parishes and schools. The prayers called for preserving the dignity of humans who are created in the image and likeness of God, and for ending this phenomenon that harms humanity.

It's worth noting that the Springs of Hope Initiative in Jordan regularly holds training workshops aimed at disseminating  the spirituality of Talitha Kum's "Little girl, I say to you, arise" by raising awareness and knowledge among participants and conveying that to society at large.

It is worthy to note that this workshop began six weeks before the graduation of this new batch of mothers.

At the conclusion of the training workshop, the participants had lunch at the parish hall in an atmosphere of cordiality.
