Jordan:Training course "Wisdom for Mothers" provides Biblical solutions to challenges mothers face
en.abouna.org :

On Saturday, February 8, a training course titled, "Wisdom for Mothers" was launched, presented by the "MotherWise" ministry and hosted by the Latin Church in Marka, eastern Amman.

The opening session was attended by Reverend Father Khalil Jaar, pastor of the church, along with Sister Cecile Hajazin, coordinator of Springs of Hope in Jordan.

The course aims to provide Biblical solutions to the challenges which mothers face in raising their children, strengthen their relationships with others, and encourage them to persevere in building a world of peace, justice, dignity, and hope for all. It also addresses how, through God's grace, we can break the chains of challenges, become free, and serve as messengers of light and hope to others facing difficulties, especially within the same household.

The course's opening coincided with the feast of Saint Josephine Bakhita, celebrated by the Catholic Church, and the World Day of Prayer and Reflection to combat human trafficking.

It is worth mentioning that the course, held in the parish hall, will run for eight weeks and was attended by 33 women from the parish community and the Iraqi community in the church.

The first week of the course was led by attorney Mirna Jadoun, who focused on the vertical relationship—the pivotal point being our relationship with God, the center of our lives, from whom we draw strength and wisdom to continue the journey of hope, love, and faith, especially during this Year of Hope, the Jubilee Year of the Pilgrims of Hope.

This course was organized in cooperation with the dedicated "MotherWise" service team, with the blessing of Reverend Father Khalil Jaar, aiming to spiritually and educationally enrich families in line with the teachings of the Mother Church.
