Lebanese hymn singer Carla Chamoun arrives in Jordan to hold charity concerts

At the invitation of Caritas Jordan and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization, in cooperation with the Catholic Center for Studies and Media (CCSM), Lebanese hymn singer Carla Chamoun arrived in Amman on June 29 to hold song and hymn concerts whose proceeds will go towards buying medicines for fraternal Lebanon.

 

She was welcomed upon arrival at Amman Airport by Caritas Jordan Director Wael Suleiman, CCSM Director Fr. Dr. Rif'at Bader, and Caritas Jordan senior members of staff. Ms. Chamoun is accompanied by her musical band, and her production manager Lucien Salloum.

 

Chaldean Catholic Bishop of Lebanon Michel Kassarji is scheduled to arrive in Amman at a later time to lead a delegation accompanying Carla Chamoun in her spiritual concerts in Jordan, in addition to a delegation from Caritas Lebanon led by Caritas Lebanon President Father Michel Abboud and Regional Coordinator at Caritas Internationalis Karam Abi Yazbeck.

 

Ms. Chamoun will hold a concert in the square of the downtown Fuheis Church and an evening of religious hymns at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Tla' Al-Ali, western Amman. The proceeds of the two concerts will go towards buying medicines for fraternal Lebanon.

 

Furthermore, Carla Chamoun will record a song in front of the Treasury in Petra in coordination with the Jordan Tourism Board, and a hymn at the Baptism Site in coordination with the site administration.
