In a significant recognition of its two-decade-long commitment to the rights and dignity of persons with disabilities, Our Lady of Peace Center—an institution of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem, located in Jordan—has been awarded the Gold Accreditation by the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The prestigious honor was presented by His Royal Highness Prince Mired Ibn Raad, Chief Secretary and President of the Higher Council, in acknowledgment of the center’s outstanding compliance with national standards for services offered to individuals with intellectual disabilities and those on the autism spectrum.

Among the four institutions that received the gold-level accreditation, Out Lady of Peace Center stands out as the only free charitable organization, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and inclusive care.

"This honor reflects more than just standards—it is a tribute to over 20 years of tireless work and love," said representatives of the Center. "We thank the Higher Council for its appreciation of our mission, which has always placed the well-being and rights of people with disabilities at the heart of our work."

Established as a place of hope and support, Our Lady of Peace Center continues to serve individuals and families across Jordan—regardless of background—with compassion, professionalism, and a profound sense of national and spiritual responsibility.
