Radio Maria Colombia has consecrated adults and children to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The preparation of the adults began on 9 April ​​and the joint consecration with Radio Maria Peru took place on 13 May. During this event, which has been celebrated once a year since the first time on 7 October 2020, approximately 468 people were consecrated.

This year, unlike previous years, children were also consecrated. The preparation began on 30 April and the consecration took place on Friday, 31 May 2024. Thanks to this initiative, about 12,000 children from different parts of Colombia and from other countries such as Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Argentina, United States, Mexico, Spain, Switzerland, Germany and Turkey have already been consecrated to Jesus through Mary.

“The preparation is very simple whereby for 31 days the children listen to the heroic lives of young remarkable people in short audios of approximately 8 minutes.”  Each listener is invited to speak to their parish priest and to encourage him to consecrate the children of his parish on an appropriate day and time.

On 31 May, for example, around 800 children were consecrated, some of whom came personally to the venue, and others were connected through the networks whilst others, thanks to the support from the local priests, were consecrated in their own town or city.
