On 16 and 17 May, an intense Marian celebration took place during Expo Maria at Plaza Libertad in Mariano Roque Alonso, in Paraguay’s Central Department. The event drew a large number of faithful, families, volunteers, and ecclesial movements who gathered together to share moments of prayer, fellowship, and communion under the protection of the Virgin Mary.
Among the key participants were also the “little ants” of Radio Maria — the volunteers who, with dedication and a spirit of service, support the mission of the Catholic Radio on a daily basis. With enthusiasm and constant presence, they animated the event by promoting Radio Maria’s evangelizing mission and raising awareness among participants about the importance of supporting the station in a concrete way.
During the live broadcasts, numerous testimonies and experiences of faith were shared by members of the Legion of Mary and other ecclesial movements attending the event. Their stories highlighted how Radio Maria continues to be, for many people, a source of hope, spiritual support, and closeness during everyday struggles.
The initiative also provided an opportunity to encourage listeners and pilgrims to contribute to the Mariathon, the great solidarity campaign that supports Radio Maria’s activities around the world and enables the establishment of new stations in countries where Radio Maria is not yet present.
The Mariathon will continue throughout the month of May, involving communities and listeners in a journey of generosity and communion. Inspired by the spirit that animates this mission, Radio Maria Paraguay continues to remind everyone that love is the key to victory.
