With deep joy and gratitude, Radio Maria Peru celebrated its 31st anniversary of missionary activity in the service of the Church and Peruvian families. It was a moment of strong ecclesial communion and thanksgiving for a journey that, for more than three decades, has accompanied thousands of faithful every day through radio broadcasting.
The commemorative day began with Holy Mass at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Breña, celebrated by Fr. Carlos Rosell. During his homily, the celebrant invited those present to give thanks to God for the years of work, prayer and pastoral service accomplished through the radio, highlighting the value of the day-to-day evangelization that reaches families throughout the country.
The celebration was attended by volunteers, listeners, benefactors and friends of the Radio, gathered together as one great Marian family. It was a particularly moving and well-attended occasion, marked by testimonies of affection and gratitude towards a broadcaster that, over time, has become a spiritual point of reference for so many people.
During the liturgy, it was recalled how Radio Maria Peru has brought, over more than thirty years, a constant message of hope, consolation and proclamation of the Word of God. A special prayer was also offered for all those who make this mission possible: priests, hosts, volunteers, technicians and listeners who, through their daily support, help keep this work of evangelization alive and active.
