On Friday, November 14, 2025 the youth of Jordan held for the first time a festival to mark "the Feast of Christ the King" with wide participation of young people from various parts of the Kingdom and from all walks of life.
The event was organized by the General Secretariat of Christian Youth at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Fuheis.
The activities of the day began with praying the Holy Rosary and Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Iyad Twal in the presence of a number of priests. During the Mass, the slogan for Jordanian youth for 2026 was launched namely, "Be prepared." (1 Peter 3:15) It represented a call for young people to be witnesses of hope with vigilant hearts and a prepared will.
The day's activities included a variety of artistic, musical performances, and lectures. Mr. Imad Hanna delivered a lecture on "The Identity and Artificial Intelligence," while Tawfiq Al-Dalu performed patriotic songs, and the "Ajqa" band made artistic performances.
During the festival a new publication by the Latin Patriarchate's Office of Priestly Vocations titled, "the Voiceof God". Furthermore, a number of youths made blood donations, and in the evening
During the evening concert, hymn singer Natalie presented a selection of hymns. On the other hand, General Spiritual Director of the General Secretariat for Christian Youth in Jordan Fr. Wajdi Twal delivered an address during which he called on the youth to be a living presence of Christ on Earth. The festival ended with a musical performance by Lebanese singer George Ni'meh.
