Bethlehem University is featured in an international collaboration exploring the theme of “creativity in waiting,” published by The Psychologist, the flagship publication of the British Psychological Society.
The feature, written by Ragan Benson, a student at Manchester Metropolitan University, introduces the partnership between Manchester Metropolitan University and Bethlehem University, highlighting how creative practices can help individuals and communities navigate uncertainty, resilience, and hope.
The publication includes contributions from Dr. Fadel Alsawayfa, Associate Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Early Childhood Education at Bethlehem University, alongside Dr. Aspa Paltoglou and Amie Disley from Manchester Metropolitan University. Drawing on perspectives from education, psychology, and creative practice, the contributors reflect on the concept of “waiting” and how creativity can become a meaningful response to challenging social and political realities.
