On Thursday,  July 9, 2025 Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal received a delegation from Caritas Jerusalem, led by its director Mr. Anton Asfar.

The visit took place in a spirit of constructive cooperation with the aim of strengthening partnerships with the institutions of the Diocese and Caritas Jordan,  in addition to exploring new opportunities for communication and joint efforts in the service of the Church's humanitarian and pastoral mission.

During the meeting, both parties expressed commitment to the spirit of solidarity, and emphasized that cooperation between Church institutions and humanitarian organizations serves as a bridge to support the needy, as well as to reflect the values of love and generosity that are at the heart of the Church's mission.
