Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Iyad Twal has celebrated the Pentecost Mass at Saint John de La Salle Church in Jabal Al-Hussein, Amman. The Holy Mass was concelebrated by parish priest Father Ibrahim Naffa’ in the presence of several deacons, nuns, and a large gathering of parishioners.

In his homily, Bishop Twal spoke about the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of believers, noting the importance of listening to the Holy Spirit’s work while reflecting this presence into practical daily life so that the faithful may be guide in the spiritual journey, have hearts and faith renewed especially at a time when people are in need of hope and inner peace.

At the end of the Holy Mass, Parish Priest Fr, Naffa’ expressed gratitude to Bishop Twal for his pastoral visit and for celebrating the Holy Mass. He presented him, on behalf of the parish, with a commemorative shield. After the Holy Mass,  Bishop Twal met with the faithful and exchanged greetings with them.

On the other hand, Bishop Twal has also celebrated Pentecost Mass held with the parish community in the city of Fuheis, in the presence of the parish priest, Fr. Ibrahim Nino, and concelebrated by Fr. Michael Deeb.

The celebration also included the blessing of the the new Parish Council, marking the beginning of its mission in serving the community and strengthening ecclesial participation in a spirit of unity and faith.
