On Wednesday June 10, 20256 at the invitation of the Œuvre d’Orient and the Barnabas Network, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, met with representatives of Catholic education at the headquarters of the Diocesan Directorate of Catholic Education in Paris.

The Patriarch spoke about the situation of Christians in Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Israel, highlighting the challenges they face and calling for continued prayer, and support.

He also underscored the vital role of Christian education in forming young people to persevere with hope and contribute to building the future of the Holy Land. The meeting concluded with a fruitful exchange of questions and discussion.
