caritasjr.org :

As part of ongoing efforts to improve access to healthcare services for vulnerable communities, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) – Bethlehem branch, in partnership with Caritas Jerusalem and Doha Municipality, organized a free medical day at Muscat School in Doha City, Bethlehem Governorate.

The initiative brought together a team of eight physicians and medical specialists who provided consultations and examinations across a range of specialties, including Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Internal Medicine and Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Orthopedics and Neurology, Pediatrics, and Urology. Free medications were also dispensed according to medical assessments and prescriptions.

The event was attended by representatives of the Governorate, Caritas Jerusalem, Doha Municipality, and the Palestine Red Crescent Society, who highlighted the importance of cooperation between humanitarian and local institutions in expanding access to quality healthcare services and supporting vulnerable families.

Through the combined efforts of all partners, the medical day benefited approximately 520 patients, helping to alleviate both the health and financial burdens faced by many community members. Beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the initiative and for the opportunity to receive specialized medical care and medications free of charge.

The medical day reflects the shared commitment of the Palestine Red Crescent Society, Caritas Jerusalem, and Doha Municipality to promoting community health and ensuring that essential healthcare services reach those who need them most.
