Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ali Ibn Al-Hussein, the General Secretariat of Christian Youth in Jordan will hold the sessions of the 17th International Youth Christian Student Conference on May 16-26 in the presence of more than a hundred people from more than 30 countries.

The conference will be launched during a solemn Mass to be celebrated by Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Fr. Jihad Shweihat at the Church of the Good Shepherd. The official opening of the conference will take place at the Royal Cultural Center in the presence of the representative of His Highness the Prince, Minister of Culture Mrs. Haifa Al-Najjar.

The conference will tackle four issues which will serve as the main topics of the conference, namely religious common living and peace, social justice in education, environment and smart agriculture, and the impact of media on societal culture. The conference will  include as well cultural and entertainment evenings, in addition to touristic tours to archaeological and historical sites in the Kingdom.
