Fr. Iyad Twal, the appointed Latin Patriarchal vicar for Jordan, is scheduled to arrive in Amman on Wednesday, January 8, on his way from Jerusalem.

A delegation of priests will head to King Hussein Bridge to welcome the appointed bishop. Furthermore, the Latin Patriarchal Vicariate has invited priests, nuns, and apostolic figures to a prayer meeting and welcoming for him at Our Lady of Nazareth Church in Sweifieh, on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 12:00 noon.

It is worthy to note that Monsignor Twal will also participate in the inauguration and consecration ceremony of the Church of the Baptism of Jesus.
