Caritas Jordan, in partnership with Catholic Relief Services (CRS), held the closing session of the Institutional Capacity Building Project on Saturday, 19 September 2026. The session was attended by Mr. Thabet Al-Wir, President of the Caritas Jordan Board, Mr. Jason Knapp, CRS Country Representative in Jerusalem, along with representatives from partner organizations and members of the Caritas Jordan team.

The session highlighted the project’s key achievements, results, and lessons learned throughout its implementation, while exploring ways to build on these outcomes to further strengthen Caritas Jordan’s institutional capacities and support its continued organizational development.

The session also addressed Caritas Jordan’s vision for institutional development and capacity-building priorities, including its current strategy and future direction. Partners shared their perspectives on strategic priorities and opportunities to further support Caritas Jordan’s institutional development journey.

The closing session reflects Caritas Jordan’s continued commitment to investing in its institutional capacities, strengthening partnerships and collaboration with members of the Caritas Internationalis network, and translating the project’s results and lessons learned into practical steps that support its institutional development in the years ahead.
