Within the framework of its commitment to promoting a safe and productive school environment, as well as instilling child protection principles, the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan signed on 16 September 2026, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) relevant to cooperation in the field of child protection.

The MoU was signed by the Latin Patriarchate Schools in Jordan, represented by Director Dr. Firas Nasrawin, and Thaka Jordan, represented by Ms. Yasar Nassar.

The MoU aims to establish a framework for joint cooperation that contributes to raising awareness of child protection concepts through the implementation of awareness and training programs targeting students, school staff, and parents with such efforts intended to strengthen productive practices, and to support the provision of a safe educational environment that safeguards students’ safety and well-being.

This partnership embodies the Latin Patriarchate Schools’ ongoing commitment to developing a comprehensive system for protecting students, in addition to enhancing a culture of awareness and shared responsibility within the school community. This commitment stems from the belief that child protection is fundamental to a successful and sustainable educational environment.
