Guarding the treasure of vocation starting from the deep mystery of the person. With this spirit, a delegation from the Istituto Francescano di Spiritualità of the Pontificia Università Antonianum travelled to the Holy Land from July 10 to 15 to launch a refresher course intended for the formator friars of the Custody.

The initiative, born at the invitation of the Custos, Fr. Francesco Ielpo, and the Secretary of Formation, inaugurates a three-year traveling itinerary that will develop both online and in person. Leading the first sessions is a team that expresses the charismatic richness of the Franciscan family: the president Fr. Luca Bianchi (Ofm), Fr. Alceo Grazioli (Ofm) and sister Donatella Forlani.

At the center of the work of this first session is the theme "Mistero della persona e vita come vocazione". The path aims to lay the foundation for a solid comparison between Biblical-Christian anthropology and the cultural challenges of contemporary times, offering formators new pedagogical tools to intercept the desires of young people, help them find clarity and accompany them toward an increasingly free and conscious answer to God.
