Under the patronage of former Minister Dr. Munther Haddadin, the Catholic Center for Studies and Media held the launching the signing ceremony for two books by writer Bashar Jarrar, namely “The Confessions of an Emigrant: On the Banks of the Jordan River and Potemkin” and “Qurbano: The Sweetest Stories I Recite While Kneeling in My Mother’s Hands,” at the Terra Sancta College in Jabal Luwaibdeh.
Jarrar is an American-Jordanian writer residing in Washington. He is specialized in peace studies. He is also a political writer on American and Middle Eastern affairs, counterterrorism issues, and promoting interfaith dialogue. Furthermore, he is a columnist for a number of Arab and international newspapers and websites, and a part-time lecturer in the Public Diplomacy Program, US State Department, Washington.
The ceremony was attended by Fr. Dr. Rif’at Bader, director of the Catholic Center for Studies and Media, journalist Lina Musharbash, former Minister Dr. Jawad Anani, Dr. Amani Jarrar, and writer Bashar Jarrar.
