avosa.org :

Bishop Paolo Martinelli, Apostolic Vicar of Southern Arabia, has invited the faithful to pray for the victims of the terrorist attack on the Greek Orthodox church in Hmoud, Karak, Jordan. According to reports, nine people lost their lives and several others were injured.

In a message addressed to the clergy, religious, and faithful of the Vicariate on October 24, Bishop Paolo wrote:
“I invite you to join in prayer with our brothers and sisters in the Greek Orthodox Church, that the Almighty God may grant eternal rest to those who are martyred, console their families and their loved ones and bring healing to the injured. We pray that God may convert the hearts of those who resort to violence and hatred and bring peace and protection for all people.”

Bishop Paolo also sent a letter of condolence to His Grace Bishop Gregorios (Khoury Abdullah), Bishop of Emirates and Assistant Bishop to the Patriarch, expressing his “closeness and spiritual communion at this painful moment in the Greek Orthodox Church.”
