Youth of Jordan mark the Feast of Lord Jesus the King

The General Secretariat of Christian Youth (GSCY) in Jordan has celebrated the Feast of Lord Jesus the King at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in Jubaiha, Amman.


The celebration began with a celebration of a Holy Mass presided by Latin Patriarchal Vicar for Jordan Bishop Jamal D’aibes and concelebrated by Spiritual Guide of Youth Fr. Wajdi Twal and a number of priests in the presence of a large number of youth. During the Holy Mass, the slogan for GSCY for 2024 was launched, namely: “Let your light shine before others.”


After the end of the Holy Mass, the faithful to a break, where the Kingdom’s youth took the initiative of presenting aid to the people of Gaza which included handicrafts, among others.


The meeting concluded with prayers and hymns titled, “For Peace,” with Lebanese hymn singer Ian Darido, accompanied by organ player Jamil Tawfiq.


The evening prayers were attended by  His Beatitude Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, parish priest Fr. Samer Mdanat, a number of priests, young people, and a group of believers.
