Caritas Jordan continues the implementation of its food parcel distribution campaign, which was launched on 9 May 2026 with the aim of supporting the most vulnerable families across the Kingdom and strengthening food security for those most in need.

To date, the campaign has reached more than 16,000 families, including refugees of various nationalities and underprivileged Jordanian families, through Caritas Jordan’s centers located in Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Husun, Karak, Madaba, Mafraq, Fuheis, Ajloun, and Jerash, in addition to several other distribution points across the country.

The food parcels included essential items required by families on a daily basis, providing direct food assistance to beneficiaries and helping alleviate the increasing economic pressures they face.

Caritas Jordan reaffirms its commitment to continuing its humanitarian mission in cooperation with its partners, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most with dignity, transparency, and fairness. Through these efforts, Caritas Jordan seeks to promote the values of solidarity and social cohesion while serving the most vulnerable members of society.

This Caritas’ humanitarian gesture exudes love, peace, harmony, and common living. It has all the time played a pivotal and vital role by providing all kinds of humanitarian services to the needy, whereas its role is not called assistance but rather acts confirming humans’ legitimate rights of living in peace and harmony regardless of their race, color, gender or religion.
